A massive story broke on Wednesday that, for some reason, is not getting much traction.
Toward the end of last year, one of the more important stories on the education front was the school board letter regarding parents’ behavior.
If a Newsbusters report is accurate, Biden’s Secretary of Education, Miguel Cardona, crafted the entire attack against the parents.
Why So Quiet
The Newsbusters report resulted from a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
We go back to the September 29 National School Boards Association letter that activated the FBI against parents.
That letter may have been drafted and sent to the administration via a backroom channel request of Secretary Cardona.
The report found that there was an October 5 email between NSBA’s secretary-treasurer Kristi Swett told fellow board member Marnie Maldonado that interim CEO Chip Slaven had “told the [board] officers he was writing a letter to provide information to the White House, from a request by Secretary Cardona.”
Maldonado had told Sweet that the letter that was sent did not follow board policy.
Maldonado also stated that the letter “essentially allowed the White House to direct the Attorney General to consider members of our community’ domestic terrorists.'”
Newsbusters noted that “Despite this stunning revelation, all three evening broadcast shows ignored the report.
“While ABC’ World News Tonight,’ NBC’ Nightly News,’ and CBS’ Evening News’ all ignored the story, Fox’s ‘Special Report’ reported on it during the show’s A-block.”
The story was also not covered by the Associated Press, the New York Times, or the Washington Post.
The White House, of course, denied any wrongdoing…

Rep. Foxx (R-N.C.) responded, “It is abundantly clear to me that Secretary Cardona must answer to the Education and Labor Committee, Congress on the whole, and especially the American people.
“Anything less is an insult to the proud parents who want to better the education of their children.
“This pattern of behavior displayed by the Biden administration — let alone the Secretary of Education — is what one could expect from a political arsonist.”
She further stated, “From the very beginning, the targeting of concerned parents has been nothing short of a witch hunt orchestrated by partisan demagogues in the White House, Department of Justice, and the Department of Education.”
This sounds like something that should be at the top of the hearing list for Republicans once they take office.
We can just add this to the list of things for which Biden should be impeached.
