Some rather disturbing reports have surfaced regarding unaccompanied children at border shelters immediately after Joe Biden took office.
During the first month of Biden’s presidency, 33 “sexual abuse” instances against unaccompanied minors were reported.
Fox News obtained 41 pages of documents documenting the abuse at border holding facilities.
Where is the Outrage?
In the early days of the Biden administration, much of the vetting process regarding workers at border facilities was completely revamped.
There was concern at the time that the lack of vetting would enable human traffickers and other miscreants to get embedded in the immigration system, putting these children at risk.
Those fears seem to have become a reality.
From January 21 to February 25, 33 instances of abuse against the unaccompanied children being held in shelters were reported.
The abuse happened by both staff as well as among the unaccompanied children (UAC).
The documentation was first obtained by Judicial Watch.
President Tom Fitton stated, “These documents show that not only are there shocking reports of sexual abuse occurring in shelters for unaccompanied children, but that there is violence among the UACs themselves.
“It is no surprise that Biden administration’s enabling of human trafficking has resulted in violence and the abuse of children.”
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has called on the administration to close a San Antonio shelter based on reports of abuse.
He stated, “In short, this facility is a health and safety nightmare. The Biden administration is now presiding over the abuse of children.”
He continued, “The Biden administration caused this crisis and has repeatedly failed to address it.
“The administration failed to plan for the influx of children that they invited to come. Now they face allegations of despicable child abuse and neglect.”
Now let’s imagine for a second these reports surfaced when Donald Trump was in office and how much outrage the left would have voiced.
With Biden in office, they simply ignore it as though it is not happening.
Let’s also not forget that Biden’s ridiculous open borders policies led to these children coming here in the first place.
Just yet another embarrassment for this administration.
