The ineptitude of our military under this new woke leadership is becoming more and more apparent every day.

From reports over the last few days, we knew there was a chance of a possible attack at Kabul airport during the evacuation.

Politico, however, just published a report that leaders knew the attack was imminent, yet they could not properly secure the base.

Imminent Attack

There is a big difference between being warned about a possible attack and flat-out knowing a “mass casualty event” was about to occur.

However, 8:00 a.m. Wednesday DC time, the Pentagon held a briefing warning of an imminent “mass casualty event” in Kabul.

This was a full 24 hours before the attack, yet the Pentagon failed to clear the area and secure the base.

Commanders in Kabul had told the Pentagon that Americans nearest to the Abbey Gate were at the greatest risk, yet this area remained open and full of Americans and Afghans trying to get out of the country.

There should not have been a single excuse not to have the area cleared, the perimeter extended, and the gates closed, but that is not what happened.

Instead, even though a plan had been in place to close the Abbey Gate and clear the area, the gate remained open to allow the British to continue their accelerated evacuation plan.

As of 6:00 p.m. Kabul time, Americans were still being processed at that entry point, which is when the explosion occurred.

Now, here is where the irony comes into this…

When leaks such as this occurred during the Trump administration, the Democrats celebrated them and demanded investigations into the administration.

Now, as we all know, some Democrats have been accused of leaking that information, most notably Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).

Now that this information has been leaked, White House officials are going ballistic.

After the report was published, Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby stated, “This story is based on the unlawful disclosure of classified information and internal deliberations of a sensitive nature.

“As soon as we became aware of the material divulged to the reporter, we engaged Politico at the highest levels to prevent the publication of information that would put our troops and our operations at the airport at greater risk.

“We condemn the unlawful disclosure of classified information and oppose the publication of a story based on it while a dangerous operation is ongoing.”

The full report on Politico is staggering in nature, showing a blatant disregard of reliable intelligence and purposefully putting both American citizens and our troops unnecessarily at risk.

There is a clear and present danger to this country right now… and it is Joe Biden and this administration from top to bottom.
