REPORT: Uptick in Drug Trafficking at Border

Joe Biden’s border policies have far more implications outside an unsustainable increase in immigration.

The one topic that Democrats refuse to discuss is the increase in drug trafficking that comes with an increase in illegal immigration.

The media has, for some reason, given Biden a pass on this, but that could all change very soon.

Travel Restrictions Being Lifted Increasing Drugs

Over and above the problem with drugs coming via illegal immigration, travel restrictions being lifted is also added more fuel to this fire.

With many of the restrictions having been lifted, even legal border traffic is creating more drug trafficking over the southern border from Mexico.

Michael Salvatti, the assistant director of U.S. passenger operations at the El Paso Ysleta Border Port of Entry in Texas, stated, “Our seizure rates continue to climb.

“Especially when it comes to fentanyl, methamphetamine … we saw drastic increases in that.”

We bring this up because mass overdoses have been reported numerous times over the last few weeks.

This has been happening around the country and has even infiltrated one of our military establishments.

To that point, Salvatti added, “These narcotics are not destined for El Paso.

“They’re destined for larger metropolitan areas in the United States.

“They go to where the demand is the highest.”

With staffing issues at border agencies becoming a bigger and bigger problem, our resources are getting stretched.

Between the increase in illegal immigration and the increased flow of legal border crossings, this is a problem that is quickly growing out of control.
