In today’s episode of “Rules for Thee, Not for Me,” we are featuring Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.).
The state of New York has an indoor mask mandate in place.
Violations of the mandate can bring a $1,000 fine, yet there is video of Gillibrand blowing right through the restaurant with no mask in place.
It may seem a bit petty to same to keep pointing out these mask violations, but they are actually a big deal, and for several reasons.
This particular incident is quite interesting.
First, if businesses are not enforcing the mask mandate, they could literally be shut down.
Secondly, those violating the mask mandate are subject to as much as a $1,000 fine.
Thirdly, when people see something like this, they figure, “Hey, if an elected official is not wearing a mask, why do I need to wear a mask?”
This was the post by the restaurant…

Gillibrand, after being outed, stated, “We all need to do our part to help stop the spread of Omicron and that means following state and local guidance. That includes me and I will do better going forward.”
Sorry, that does not fly… you broke the rule, pay the fine.
You and your Democrat buddies have now been caught dozens of times violating these mask orders, and you do not get to make that mistake since you are trying to make people out that do not want to wear the mask as death mongers and Nazis.
Finally, read the language of that post and it shows a real problem with the liberal mindset.
The line I am referring to is, “As good citizens, agree or not, we must follow our leaders.”
First, we do not elect leaders in this country, we elect representatives.
I cannot explain why, but when I hear elected officials call themselves leaders and citizens referring to them as leaders or providing leadership, it bothers the hell out of me.
We are adults, we do not need to be led, we need representation.
Second, we do not have to follow anyone blindly because they have a title unless we are in the military.
These people are paid to represent out thoughts and wishes, not jam their ideology down our throats.
If you do not agree with them, do something about it… peacefully protest, stand up for yourself, and, most importantly, VOTE THEM OUT!
Are you sick and tired of Democrats calling conservatives out while at the same time constantly flouting the rules they put in place?
