During the Rittenhouse trial, LeBron James decided to send out an ill-advised tweet.
Rittenhouse broke down during his testimony, so James decided to troll him.
Up until now, Rittenhouse had not even addressed the tweet, but since the trial is now over, he finally gave LeBron a taste of his own medicine.
Hey, LeBron!
Rittenhouse got very emotional on the stand recalling the events of the shootings.
He was clearly upset, yet LeBron decided to troll him.
James tweeted, “What tears????? I didn’t see one.
“Man, knock it off!
“That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court.”
Rittenhouse responded during a recent interview on The Blaze, stating, “I was a Lakers fan too before he said that.
“I was really pissed off when he said that because I liked LeBron, and then I’m like, you know, ‘F-ck you, LeBron.”
When asked if he regretted going into Kenosha that night, Rittenhouse stated, “Hindsight being 20/20, probably not the best idea to go down there.
“Can’t change that, but I defended myself and that’s what happened.
“Everyone should be able to defend themselves.
“I think it’s a God-given right, the right to self-defense.
“That’s what was on trial in Wisconsin, the right to self-defense.”
When asked about the public reception and perception of the trial, he added, “This world is so messed up.
“The things people just say and how they come out and attack people for random reasons.”
You can see his interview in the video below…
There is still the question as to whether Rittenhouse is going to file defamation suits, but he has hinted he just wants to move on.
As I stated when I made that initial report, I hope he reconsiders and goes after them all to ensure they are held accountable for their words and actions against him.
