Earlier this year, podcast extraordinaire Joe Rogan tested positive for COVID.
He was very open about this treatment, saying his doctors threw everything but the kitchen sink at the virus to knock it out of his system.
Among the drugs used to treat Rogan was ivermectin, which has different forms used for both humans and animals.
Rogan’s medicine was prescribed, so he was clearly using the version for people, yet CNN portrayed it as the horse dewormer version of the drug, which Rogan called out CNN medical analyst Sanjay Gupta on right to his face.
Does It Bother You?
Ivermectin is not yet FDA-approved to treat COVID, but doctors have been prescribing it, as did Rogan’s doctor.
To Rogan’s point, when CNN started to push the narrative that he was using horse medicine, as the medical analyst on the network, Gupta should have stepped up to correct the misleading information, correction, the outright lie being perpetrated against Rogan.
Gupta went on Rogan’s show recently, and Rogan immediately put him on the spot regarding a mainstream media outlet telling a known lie.
One of the best parts of the exchange was after Gupta stated that he was glad Rogan was better.
Rogan replied, “Thank you. You’re probably the only one at CNN who’s glad … The rest of them are all lying about me taking horse medication.”
Gupta sat there grinning and stated, “That bothered you?”
Rogan shot right back, clearly getting agitated that Gupta seemed okay with the blatant lie being pushed by the network, stating, “It should bother you too.
“They’re lying at your network about people taking human drugs versus drugs for veterinary.”
Rogan continued, “It’s a lie.
“It’s a lie on a news network … and it’s a lie that they’re conscious of. It’s not a mistake. They’re unfavorably framing it as veterinary medicine.”

Rogan wrapped up the show making a very powerful statement, saying, “My point is you’re working for a news organization.
“If they’re lying about a comedian taking horse medication, what are they telling us about Russia? What are they telling us about Syria?
“Do you understand that that’s why people get concerned about the veracity of the news?”
It is the very question we have been asking since 2015 but have yet to get an answer to.
It is not out of line to wonder what else they are hiding or what other narratives were purposely twisted to suit the Democrat agenda.
