Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) has supported Joe Biden long before he moved his things into the White House.

Romney despised Trump, so he was all in with his buddy Joe Biden, but now even he has seemingly had a change of heart.

After seeing Joe Biden leave Americans and Afghan allies behind, Romney has finally called out Joe Biden.

It is almost comical watching Republicans that helped Joe Biden “win” the election try to cover their own tails rights now.

Romney tried to help sell Joe Biden as the more respectable man during the election.

He told the American people Joe Biden was a man of honor that could be trusted.

Well, Joe Biden just did the unthinkable by stranding Americans and allies behind Taliban lines.

After numerous lies were exposed and reports of Americans being ignored at the gates, Romney tweeted…

Truth matters: Leaving Americans and thousands upon thousands of our Afghan partners behind is not success—it offends our values and aspirations. Mr. President, bring them home.

While we appreciate the sentiment, you are just as much to blame as Joe Biden, Senator Romney.

You sold this man to conservatives, independents, and moderate voters that were on the fence about Trump, so a tweet does not exonerate you from this debacle.

Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) is another anti-Trumper trying to cover his tail

Sasse stated, “He promised the Taliban that our troops would leave by his arbitrary August 31st deadline, and he promised the American people that our troops would stay until every American was out.

“He kept his promise to the Taliban and lied to the American people. These lies will cost Americans for decades to come.”

Empty words from empty vessels… and hopefully, their voters realize this and remove them all from office very soon.
