The White House is pushing a new narrative regarding possible Americans left behind in Afghanistan from top to bottom.
Several officials have now hinted that if an American remains in Afghanistan past the August 31 deadline, it is because they want to say.
Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Tom Cotton (R-AR) are both calling bullsh** on the White House.
This is a Lie
Just how many Americans are still in Afghanistan remains to be seen.
The White House claims it has evacuated 4,500 so far and it estimated there are another 1,500 still in-country.
That number is well below estimates from various outlets, with a low number between 10,000 and 15,000 people.
People have taken to calling up news agencies because they are unable to get to the airport have been unable to contact anyone that can help them.
Now, the White House has repeatedly stated that anyone remaining wants to stay there, as though any American in their right mind would want to remain behind in a Taliban-controlled country.
Senator Marcio Rubio (R-FL) responded…
The @StateDept admits 4,100 Americans remaining in Kabul alone but claim that some of them are deciding not to leave
This is a lie
Taliban isn’t allowing American women through their checkpoints without a male guardian & are blocking non-citizen family members of U.S. citizens

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) also responded, stating, “I think they’re spinning these numbers, and come Tuesday night, when there are hundreds or thousands of Americans left, they’re going to say, well, they didn’t want to leave, they wanted to stay there.
“I guess that’s their decision, too bad for them and we’re out of here.
“Because I think Joe Biden knows that there are going to be Americans there and he, once again, is not taking responsibility for his disastrous miscalculation.”
It is absolutely disgraceful that this administration is already laying the groundwork to blame any possible deaths on the victims themselves.
