Did Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) finally hit the first domino that could create some outrage among Democrats regarding the botched drone strike in Afghanistan?
To this point, most high-profile Democrats have been completely silent.
Sanders finally broke silence on Sunday during an interview with “Face the Nation,” calling it “unacceptable.”
Breaking the Dam
It only takes one… then, hopefully, the dam breaks.
That is what I am hoping happens here with Sanders coming forward.
The fact more Democrats were outraged over Trump ordering the successful strike of General Soleimani than they are about the disastrous Biden strike that killed 10 innocent civilians is absolutely baffling to me.
Having said that, at least Sanders finally came forward with some type of criticism over the strike…
.@SenSanders on Pres. Biden’s Over the Horizon policy: “I hope they understand what happened and make sure that never happens again. This is not only a human tragedy, it reflects on us before the entire world. It’s unacceptable.” pic.twitter.com/SM4c5th14o

The difference in how Sanders reacted is still disturbing, however.
When General Soleimani was killed, Sanders looked like his head would explode.
He accused Trump of putting “the children or working families” at risk because of his dangerous policies.
Biden actually did kill children, and Sanders says they hope they figure out what went wrong and it never happens again.
Something is drastically wrong when the elected officials get more upset about a terrorist being killed than they do an entire family, including seven children.
