Donald Trump recently commented on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
As I stated in another report, his wording was not the best and drew the immediate rebuke of many Democrats.
Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who has praised some of the most horrific dictators in history, just about blew his stack.

Trump called Putin savvy for the way he invaded Ukraine.
Everything Trump said was meant to be a dig at Biden, as though Putin has played him.
For instance, Trump commented on the peacekeeping force that Putin was touting.
He stated, “I said, ‘How smart is that? He’s going to go in and be a peacekeeper.
“That’s the strongest peace force.
“We could use that on our southern border.
“That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more army tanks than I’ve ever seen.
“They’re going to keep peace, all right.”
Trump called the move “genius.”

Personally, I think Trump would have been far better off just denouncing the invasion and saying that it never would have happened with him in office.
I understand what his point was, but he chose the wrong words and now Democrats have some click-bait quotes that they will use against him and the Republican Party.
You could tell by Trump’s tone he felt as though Joe Biden had gotten played by Putin.
Sanders went ballistic, stating, “It is outrageous, if unsurprising, that Trump would praise Putin’s murderous invasion of Ukraine as an act of ‘genius.’
“It should concern us all that Putin is exactly the kind of leader Trump would like to be, and that so few Republicans have the courage to say this out loud.”
Again, the comments were ill-advised by Trump, but they were hardly what Democrats are making them out to be.
This is just more distraction on their part to deflect away from Biden completely botching his own response.
And, considering Sanders gushed over Castro, he is far from the person that should be critical of Trump right now.
