Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) does not take things not going his way very well.
It is okay for him to fight with Joe Biden on agenda items he does not like, but when someone else does it, he loses it.
Case in point, Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) recently announced that he was backing away from another all-encompassing reconciliation bill.
Once again, Democrats are trying to push a piece of legislation with some parts that would get bipartisan support with pet projects in a budget bill.
They do this because they only need all the Democrat senators to fall in line, but Senator Manchin is spoiling their little party.
Bernie Sanders ripped him on the Sunday circuit for it.
The failed presidential candidate stated, “Six months ago, I made it clear that you have people like Manchin, Sinema to a lesser degree, who are intentionally sabotaging the president’s agenda, what the American people want, what a majority of us in the Democratic Caucus want. Nothing new about this.
“And the problem was that we continued to talk Manchin like he was serious. He was not.
“This is a guy who is a major recipient of fossil fuel money, a guy who has received campaign contributions from 25 Republican billionaires.”
Bernie Sanders unloads on Manchin: "He didn't abruptly do anything. He has sabotaged the president's agenda…you have people like Manchin, Sinema to a lesser degree, who are intentionally sabotaging the president's agenda, what the American people want…nothing new about this." pic.twitter.com/mnpp3lOoz4

Manchin remains a very popular political figure in West Virginia, so Bernie may want to check his research there.
Manchin is not blocking the legislation for the reasons that Sanders gave.
For the most part, he is blocking it because Democrats want to ram climate change money into the bill, which he does not support.
But, as usual, Sanders cherry-picks the line items that people would support while covering up the reality of what Democrats really included in the legislation.
Just once, I would like to see a politician give the entire, truthful story, but that will never happen.
