Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) sat down at the table and was willing to discuss the one item among the top items of the Democrat agenda… police reform.
Sadly, he was the only one that sat down at the table.
GOP leadership entrusted the task of coming up with a bipartisan bill on police reform that addressed some of the real issues we need to take care of for our police to be more effective, yet not a single Democrat was willing to talk to him.
This week, Joe Biden signed an Executive Order on police reform and could not stop slapping himself on the back.
But Scott exposed one major issue… Biden’s plan embraced many of the policies that Senator Scott put on the table.
You Hypocrites
First and foremost, we have caught Joe Biden in yet another lie.
On Wednesday, Joe Biden claimed the Republicans never wanted any meaningful police reform…
Joe Biden says that Republicans "opposed any meaningful reform" to policing.

Scott went ballistic, stating, “After the radical ‘defund the police’ movement helped create the current crime wave, President Biden is pursuing a partisan approach to many of the exact same policy solutions I proposed in the JUSTICE Act just two years ago.
“The fact is Democrats used a filibuster they call racist to block my reforms that they’re now embracing.”
He continued, “While my proposal added funding to help local law enforcement comply with higher standards, the Democrats’ proposal sets departments up for failure by issuing unfunded federal mandates.
“Making it harder for police to do their jobs to the best of their ability should be a nonstarter, yet that’s exactly what the Biden plan does.
“I’m disappointed that the president who campaigned on unity has once again fallen into the trap of divisive politics.”
As I have stated before, this is how the new Democrat Party works.
They now have two options:
First, you either accept their policies the way they write them, or they walk away.
Second, if they cannot get full credit for something, even if you are on board, such as the JUSTICE Act, they walk away, then steal your ideas as their own.
