On Monday, news broke that China has apparently testing a hypersonic missile.

More shocking than the fact they had the technology working was that our intelligence agencies did not even know they ran the test.

This, according to Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), is a telling sign that the United States is quickly falling behind.

Game Changer

Hypersonic missiles are something we are developing as well, but based on the reports I have seen, it did not appear as we were aware the Chinese had already developed this technology to the point it could be tested.

As stated above, it was just as alarming that the United States had no idea this testing had even been done.

Graham, in part, stated, “If, in fact, the Chinese have developed a hypersonic missile that can deliver a nuclear weapon, it’s a military game-changer when it comes to nuclear forces.

“We’ve allowed the Chinese to leapfrog us. And we’re going to have to do one of two things:

“Get them to stand down, and I don’t know how Joe Biden convinces anybody to stand down.

“And if they don’t stand down, we’re going to have to develop a capability to neutralize this and one-up China.”

Graham concluded, “If this is true, the Chinese have developed this capability, it’s the biggest game-changer in the last 40 years when it comes to our nuclear problems with China.”
