For Russians, the letter “Z” is a symbol of victory.
We have seen it plastered all over Russian military equipment.
It has now been posted somewhere else, and it is surely not what Putin intended.
This war has been filled with Russian atrocities for which Putin is unlikely to be held accountable.
Based on a message that Ukraine soldiers have recently sent Putin, it is reasonable to assume they feel the same way.
While I would not go so far as to say that I think Ukraine can win this war, I would say that I no longer believe Russia will win it.
In all likelihood, this will finish in a stalemate of some sort.
Even so, Ukrainian soldiers appear to have a “victory” message for Putin.
A picture is going viral right now of four dead Russian soldiers.
After being killed, it would appear as though Ukrainian troops arranged the four bodies in the shape of “Z.”
The bodies were found and located outside of Kharkiv village that Ukrainian troops had just retaken.
There was also a burnt body found propped up on an anti-tank barrier.
While one could hardly blame Ukraine for sending this message, this now puts Ukraine on similar ground as Russia for possible war crimes, as you are not permitted to disrespect the corpse of a dead soldier.
You can see the photos in the New York Post.
