Sarah Palin Announces She’s Running For Congress

One of the most talked-about political figures is making a comeback for the GOP.

It’s Sarah Palin.

Most famous for her run as the potential vice president of the United States of America, Palin recently announced that the call of public service has struck her once again and she will be running for the seat left by the late Republican Don Young.

Palin’s shot to represent Alaska in Congress is huge news for fans that loved what she had done as Governor of the state.

Sarah Palin made the announcement on April 1, but we don’t think she was joking.

“Today I’m announcing my candidacy for the U.S. House seat representing Alaska. Public service is a calling, and I would be honored to represent the men and women of Alaska in Congress, just as Rep. Young did for 49 years.”

Alaska has just one representative in the house. Their previous public servant in that role, Don Young, died last month at the age of 88.
