The American Pentagon has released a shock report that is confusing almost the entire world:

Mariupol has NOT fallen to Russian forces.

Despite what you’ve heard elsewhere, the Pentagon does not believe that Russia has conquered Mariupol.

On April 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the world that his forces had conquered the Ukrainian city.

However, senior officials in America’s Department of Defense do not agree:

“We don’t assess that it is fallen to the Russians. The Ukrainians are still there, still resisting, Mariupol still continues to fall victim to continued airstrikes from the Russians.”

The port city of Mariupol is strategically important for Russia because it will help them attack the rest of Eastern Ukraine.

By conquering Mariupol, it would allow them to proceed north from there and attack the Luhansk and Donetsk region.

Putin has declared victory over the city.

However, thousands of resistance fighters remain in the city holed up in tunnels.
