Someone screwed up loading a prop gun and it is a mistake that cost a woman her life.
While on the set of the production of “Rust,” Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun.
Be it a live bullet or an overzealous prop master, a bullet that was supposed to be a blank ended up hitting two people, killing one of them.
In Tears
Pictures and videos from the scene show Alec Baldwin completely distraught after the incident, and I don’t doubt that for a second.
What was supposed to be a blank killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounded Joel Souza.
The shooting occurred at Bonanza Creek Ranch in Sante Fe, NM, which has been used dozens of times in recent years for westerns.
The incident is currently under investigation, as police will try to figure out how a prop gun was improperly loaded.
Baldwin finally spoke out about the incident on Twitter…
1-
There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and— AlecBaldwin(HABF) (@AlecBaldwin) October 22, 2021
2- I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.

Baldwin, who has openly supported the liberal agenda against guns while at the same time making a living off gun violence in movies, immediately became the subject of trolls who dug up a tweet from 2017…
I wonder how it must feel to wrongfully kill someone…https://t.co/WE6QsAAXGI

Rest assured, this will probably haunt Baldwin for the rest of his life.
Production of the movie has been halted.
