Up and Coming Rapper Shot Dead in Brooklyn

The violence in New York continues, this time taking down a budding star in the rap industry.

TDott Woo, 22, whose real name is Tahjay Dobson, was shot dead.

The incident occurred on Avenue L near East 98th Street in Canarsie, the same neighborhood where he grew up.

Fans Stunned

TDott had finally gotten the break that he had hoped for.

He had signed a record deal with Million Dollar Music only hours before the shooting.

The label had just announced the deal on social media when the shooting occurred.

TDott was considered a big up-and-comer in the industry, with the label stating, “he rose to prominence for his ‘Woo Walk’ from a community whose drill music has and continues to electrify the world.”

The shooting occurred in broad daylight around 2:20 p.m.

TDott was struck in the head and knee by the shooter(s) and transported to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center.

He was later pronounced dead.

The young star was known just as much for his ability to dance as his music.

TDott got everyone’s attention dancing in a 2019 Pop Smoke song called “Welcome to the Party.”

He also danced in the “Big Drip” video by Fiveo Foreign.

According to reports, the shooter was inside of a dark SUV.

Police have not arrested anyone, nor have they announced and people of interest in this murder.

Was this a case of gangsta rap gone bad or just another random killing in the city of New York?
