They went to a rap concert and a murder broke out.
Reports broke early this morning that a performer was stabbed backstage at the Once Upon a Time in LA Festival in California.
That individual has now been identified as rapper Drakeo the Ruler, one of the artists performing at the show.

Reports are still coming in, so all of the incident details are not yet known.
From what we have seen, an altercation broke out backstage and Drakeo was stabbed in the neck.
He was listed in critical condition when he went to the hospital, but reports broke overnight that he had passed away.
After the incident, the LAPD released this statement…
Media update: There has been an incident at the Once Upon A Time in LA festival at the Banc of California. The festival has concluded early. LAPD will be in the area assisting CHP w/ the investigation. Media staging is on the South Lawn at Bill Robertson south of Exposition.

Live Nation stated, “There was an altercation in the roadway backstage.
“Out of respect for those involved and in coordination with local authorities, artists and organizers decided not to move forward with remaining sets so the festival was ended an hour early.”

After the incident, the concert was halted, with Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Ice Cube not going on stage.
This is now the second deadly incident at a rap show in recent weeks.
In early November, 10 people died due to an incident at the AstroWorld festival.
In that incident, the fans were encouraged to move closer to the stage, and dozens of people were injured, having been crushed from the crowd moving forward.
