One of the most magical voices to come across the “America’s Got Talent” stage is no longer with us.
Jane “Nightbirde” Marczewski has passed away.
She was only 31 years old.
That Voice…
When Marczewski took the stage, the entire house sat silent, almost in disbelief at the voice they were hearing.
The song clearly touched every judge on the panel, with a few tears starting to fall while the Nightbirde sang…
Marczewski, who was a clear favorite to win, had to withdraw from the talent show back in August due to complications from her cancer diagnosis.
At the time, she stated, “Since my audition, my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all of my energy and attention.
“I am so sad to announce that I won’t be able to continue forward on this season of AGT.
“Life doesn’t always give breaks to those that deserve it — but we knew that already.”
That song you heard her singing in the video above was an original called “It’s OK.”
This young lady clearly had an amazing future ahead of her, which was stolen by cancer.
She knew going in that she had an almost unwinnable fight, but she kept her head high.
Her diagnosis offered only a two percent chance of survival, to which she responded, “but 2% is not zero percent.”
Terry Crews, who hosts AGT, expressed his condolences on Instagram, writing, “We are saddened to learn about @_nightbirde’s Passing.
“Our Condolences goes to her Closest Family & Friends in such of This difficult time. We Love you, Nightbirde.”
Judge Howie Mandel sent his condolences via Twitter…
@_nightbirde was such a bright inspirational light in all our lives.we must continue to live and learn from her words and lyrics. As much as I feel horribly about her passing I feel lucky to to have met, heard and known her.
