Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has made the order.
The reason?
Supreme Court Justices are fearing for their lives.
Youngkin, a Republican, has been made aware that many Americans have made the decision to harass Supreme Court Justices outside of their private homes.
Youngkin has told Virginia State Police to “monitor them and provide assistance if necessary,” a spokeswoman said.
“The governor is aware and Virginia State Police will monitor the situation,” Macauley Portey said. “VSP will assist federal and local law enforcement as needed to ensure the safety of our citizens, including Supreme Court justices, who call Virginia home.”
Three Supreme Court Justices live in Virginia.
Those are Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Amy Coney Barrett.
Liberals posted the home addresses of the Justices online and urged people to go harass the judges at their homes.
The protests are a result of a leaked draft that confirmed the Supreme Court would be overturning Roe v. Wade.
