If I gave you my Top 5 list for Democrats that could be a problem moving forward, the name at the top would probably be Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA).
The man is dangerous because he is a chameleon on many different levels.
To that point, he came out swinging against Joe Biden, again, this time hitting him on the baby formula shortage.
One Lousy Week
First, let’s look at the comments he made this week on CNN.
Khanna stated, “Here [are] three simple things they could do: They could have a ban on exports of gas except for our European allies.
“They could actually be buying up food at cheap prices and selling it back to Americans at cheap prices.
“Look, the baby formula issue, I mean, I was talking to moms this weekend, we still don’t have baby formula on our shelves.
“I don’t understand why we’re not buying more European baby formula.
“The whole Operation Fly [Formula] has only produced one week of baby formula. So, we just have to be far more aggressive.
“And I have said, in the morning, afternoon, and evening, every day, we have to be talking about the economy and driving down food prices, gas prices, and making more things in the U.S.”
I call him a chameleon because if you know Khanna, you know he is an uber-progressive.
However, he has challenged leadership quite often and has even, at least on the surface, push some ideas that sound in line with conservatives.
Make no mistake about it, however, he is about as far left as it gets when push comes to shove, which is my point.
He is good at pulling the wool over people’s eyes enough that some moderate Republicans could fall for his act.
This could be the second coming of Obama if we are not careful.
Mark my words… Khanna will more than likely be the next legitimate threat the Democrats throw at the presidency.
It may not happen for a as long as a decade, but he will take a run at it soon enough.
