Over the last two days, both Joe Biden and his Secretary of State have made some rather shocking concessions.
The situation in Afghanistan is now completely in the hands of the Taliban.
They may not have been quite as direct as what you just read, but it is now clear who is actually running the show.
Joe Biden
This week, joe Biden once again addressed the nation to try to quell panic, but all he really did was add to it.
While discussing the Afghanistan withdrawal, Biden stated, “The sooner we can finish, the better. Each day of operations brings added risk to our troops.
“But the completion by August 31st depends upon the Taliban continuing to cooperate and allow access to the airport.”
Can you imagine those words, literally depending upon Taliban cooperation, coming out of the mouth of Donald Trump, George Bush, Ronald Reagan, or even Bill Clinton, for that matter?
Senator Graham immediately reacted, stated, “President Biden has signed the death warrant for thousands of Afghans who helped us.
“He’s washing his hands of Afghanistan at our peril as a nation.”
Anthony Blinken
The recent statement made by Blinken will not give much hope to Americans stuck behind Taliban lines right now.
Blinken was asked, “Someone in our audience might listen to you, Mr. Secretary, and say, ‘Oh, so we have to ask the Taliban for permission for American citizens to leave.’ True or not true?”
He responded, “They are in control of Kabul. That is the reality. That’s the reality that we have to deal with.”

Q: Someone might say, "'Oh, so we have to ask the Taliban for permission for American citizens to leave.' True or not true?"

Let’s be clear about something… the Taliban are in control of Kabul because Joe Biden pulled all troops before Americans and friendlies were removed from the area.
That, Mr. Blinken, is the reality of the situation.
