Taliban to Biden: Stay Past Deadline and Suffer ‘Consequences’

Joe Biden has botched the Afghanistan withdrawal… that is not exactly a secret.

His failed plan has now resulted in the possibility that forces will need to be kept on the ground past the August 31 deadline that has been set.

The Taliban, however, is no longer willing to play ball and told Biden that the August 31 date is a “red line” that shall not be crossed.

The Consequences of Your Choices

Why Biden chose to remove military personnel before civilians is baffling.

It is also the reason why this withdrawal has been so disastrous.

After halting Trump’s plan, the Taliban agreed to Joe Biden’s new deadline of August 31.

With Biden now thinking that he may need more time to get everyone out, especially since this administration has no idea how many Americans are still there, the Taliban has issued a threat.

Leave by the agreed-upon date or suffer the “consequences.”

Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen stated, “President Biden announced that on 31 August they would withdraw all their military forces.

“So, if they extend it, that means they are extending occupation while there is no need for that.

“If the US or UK were to seek additional time to continue evacuations – the answer is no. Or there would be consequences.

“It will create mistrust between us. If they are intent on continuing the occupation, it will provoke a reaction.”

Biden has yet to react to this statement by the Taliban.
