Democrats are about to get a gift horse.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has just tested positive.
Democrats will jump all over this to rail against both Texas and Republicans.
The News
Abbott announced his positive test on Tuesday.
He stated, “I test myself every day and today is the first day that I tested positive.
“I want you to know that as I work my way through this, I will stay engaged every single day on everything happening at the Texas Capitol, including working with the members of the legislature as well as the members across the entire state to keep Texas the best state in the United States.”
Abbott has had the vaccine, so there can be no attacks regarding him being an anti-vaxxer.
To that point, he stated, “I have received the COVID-19 vaccine, and that may be one reason why I’m really not feeling any symptoms right now. I have no fever, no aches and pains, no other types of symptoms.”
As you may have heard, I have Covid.
Right now I have no symptoms such as fever or aches and pains.

However, it does show that this variant is getting through the previous vaccines, not regularly, but enough to be of concern.
So much so that I would expect a big push on booster shots now that we see more breakthrough cases, even though the percentage of hospitalizations and deaths are minimal.
Dems are taking every opportunity to make moves on this front, so expect this to be part of their case for more vaccines as well as pushing booster shots.
