Since Joe Biden does not want to secure the southern border, Texas Governor Greg Abbott took matters into his own hands.
With the Trump border wall stalled, Abbott has decided that Texas will start the construction back up.
In fact, reports are now surfacing the construction on the border wall funded by Texas has already started.
Build That Wall
Several weeks ago, Governor Abbott revealed that Texas would fund its own border wall.
The announcement did not go over very well with liberals and Democrats, but when has Texas cared about that?
Well, the wall is now fully underway.
Governor Abbott stated, “Texas has officially started building its own border wall.”
He added, “Texas is stepping up to do the federal government’s job.”

While appearing on Fox News, Abbott explained, “Three billion dollars of Texas taxpayer money has been devoted to this cause of Texas securing the border, and so we have a lot of money available to us to continue to build the wall.
“For Texas [this] is going to cost less than it did for the Trump administration for one reason. And that’s because in Texas, unlike the Trump administration, we’re not having to devote money to acquire the land …The state of Texas owns [land] on the border itself.
“There are property owners of massive acreage on the border who are fed up with Biden’s open border policies, and they are donating their land to Texas for us to be able to use that land for free to build a wall on their property.”
This announcement could not come soon enough for Texans.
November numbers were just announced, and Border Patrol had more than 170,000 encounters during November, up 140 percent from last year and up roughly 10,000 from October.
As the weather cools, we all know these numbers will go up, so let’s get this project into overdrive and block them from ever getting in.
When the numbers go back down, let’s just remember that it was because of NOTHING that Joe Biden did and everything to do with Governor Abbott and the great state of Texas!
