GOP Lawmakers Close In On Hunter Biden Records

Republicans on the House Oversight Committee recently sent letters to both the White House and the National Archives on March 31 asking for them to produce some records from the Obama administration.

The reason?

Hunter Biden.

The president’s own family can’t seem to stay out of his way, with Hunter Biden’s laptop story such a bombshell that it often overshadows stories about literal war in the headlines.

American’s care.

Liberals want to pretend that we don’t, but at least Republicans are trying to get something done here.

The group consisted of 14 GOP members who wrote that “Hunter Biden’s connections throughout the Russian sphere of influence have now become especially relevant in the fast-moving and developing Russian war in Ukraine.”

The letters were first obtained by the New York Post.

Initially, the notices were addressed to Dana Remus, who serves as council to Biden, and David Ferrioro, the head archivist at the National Archives.

“If the Russian government is attempting to influence American policy in Ukraine by exploiting Hunter Biden’s connection with his father — the President of the United States — the American people deserve to know it,” the 14 GOP members complained.

“The payment of $3.5 million to Hunter Biden or a company associated with him by Elena Baturina, a Russian businesswoman and former wife of former Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov, has raised the attention of the United States Senate and demonstrates Hunter Biden’s previous dealings with the Russian political class,” they concluded.
