There are many Senators who occasionally miss Senate votes.
If the reason is valid, it’s not the end of the world.
A Democrat Senator has recently been caught stealing his salary from taxpayers though.
He’s been skipping Senate votes to promote his book.
Instead of going to work and voting like his people pay him to do, Democrat Raphael Warnock of Georgia has missed at least two Senate votes recently so that he could go promote his new book in an attempt to make more money.
The votes missed were related to an amendment of the PACT Act.
The PACT Act is a bill about veteran’s care.
That couldn’t be enough to convince Raphael to come into the office though.
Warnock skipped Senate votes to do national media appearances building his profile.
He was paid a 6 figure book advance while GA suffers under inflation.
GA needs a full time Senator focused on costs – not one already looking for his next job. #gasen https://t.co/GJrbNUIX55

The news could be devastating for Raphael’s campaign, as he’s already facing a Georgia football legend in his own state, Herschel Walker.
