REPORT: Trump Set to Endorse Wyoming Attorney for Cheney House Seat

Donald Trump has reportedly made up his mind regarding which candidate he wants to see take on Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) in the primary race.

According to The Hill, an anonymous source has stated that Trump will be backing Harriet Hageman.

This is a bit of a shocker to the current field, but we would expect a lot of movement very soon on this if the report is accurate.

There Can Be Only One…

The field for Cheney’s seat in the primary is already stacked, but it is about to get a bit more crowded.

To be honest, the biggest name in the field had his own controversy surrounding him, with State Rep. Bouchard.

He was, by far, the biggest fundraiser of the group, but Trump is wise to steer clear of him at this point.

Bouchard has the stigma of impregnating a teenage girl when he was a young man, a girl he later married, which would surely be exploited by Democrats.

There were several other possibilities that Trump had met with, most notably two veterans, but none of them were getting any real juice headed into this primary.

According to a report on Politico, Trump’s team is recruiting attorney Harriet Hageman to run.

Cheney, by far, is the one sitting Republican that Trump wants to see removed from office, so we would expect there was significant research done in deciding where his endorsement would land.

That endorsement is expected to come out very soon, but work is reportedly being done behind the scenes to get the other candidates to bow out to Hageman.

The only real chance Trump has of getting Cheney ousted will be in a head’s up match, as a saturated field would more than likely split the opposition vote and allow Cheney to win the primary and likely her seat.

We will continue to monitor this story to see if the field agrees or if they decide to stay in and fight it out.

      1. She is nothing but a rhino !!!! People don’t like her, if it’s head to head she is done!!!!

  1. I’ve been waiting for this one, and for the endorsement that Trump will make for the Missouri Senate seat being vacated by Senator Blunt. His endorsement is something a LOT of people listen to so anyone who gets it is a fortunate candidate!

  2. i hope this is a lesson to republicans/patriots. no more bushes and no more cheneys. there are some more rinos to pick off this year. then word will get around and some of the worst of them will start behaving again. some of the worst need primary challengers. it might be hard to vote against a rino in the general, but you’ve go to think long-term.

  3. Ask Colin Powell
Sep 08, 2012 • The Lies that Led to the Iraq War and the Persistent Myth of ‘Intelligence Failure’. Secretary of State Colin Powell presents the Bush & Cheney Administration’s case for war on Iraq at the U.N. Security Council on February 5, 2003. The claim of an “intelligence failure” obscures the truth that the government lied by making evidence less claims to manufacture consent for the war on Iraq.
The Iraq war began sixteen years ago tomorrow. There is a myth about the war that I have been meaning to set straight for years. After no WMDs were found, claimed ‘Bush & Cheney Administration lied = 4,497 People died.’

  4. Too much evil in DC. We need to wipe the slate clean and start over. Too many of them have been in politics for decades and decades. And they’ve gotten so wealthy by stealing from We The People, they have no idea what reality is.

Biden’s net approval rating – the gap between those who approve and disapprove – is at a new record low of -17.3%.

This past weekend, pro-life centers were attacked in Virginia, Oregon, and Colorado.

Democrat leaders told activists to “armor up” for “war,” and radicals listened.

Remember when Biden promised he would “transform” the economy? He inherited a robust recovery and now we are on the brink of recession.
