Los Angeles Trying to Hide Homeless from Super Bowl Coverage

Tomorrow is one of the biggest spectacles in sports.

The Super Bowl is the most-watched game of the year, and houses will be filled with friends to enjoy the game all over the country.

With so many eyes on LA, local politicians are now trying to figure out a way to hide the homeless, and one of the suggestions has everyone up in arms.

Take Them In

One local California official asked residents to take the homeless into their own homes.

This must be one of the most utterly ridiculous things I have ever heard suggested.

It is a staggering request when you think of the mental health issues that run rampant in this community.

Just look at the recent headlines where homeless have been pushing people in front of trains and murdering people… how can someone even suggest something like this?

One resident, Yolanda Gonzalez, discussed the current situation.

She stated, “It started with one tent, and then, eventually, in less than three weeks, all of a sudden, all these tents went up.

“How many tourists come through here, and right now with the game’s coming, people walk up our streets.

“What have we got to show for? This is embarrassing.”

Founder of HAAVEN Shared Housing founder Heidi Roberts believes with the money they are spending to move people around to hide them, they could actually solve the problem.

She stated, “Like, you press here and it bumps up over here, press here, it bumps up over here.

“So, it seems like they’re spending millions and millions of dollars just to shift people around to different neighborhoods when if they were smart about this, I mean, they could actually solve the problem.”

Another resident stated, “The city has always done this.

“They moved homeless encampments last April for the Oscars, and so that’s really their approach.

“They just want to hide it.

“They don’t want tourists to see this coming in.”

This is the result of failed Democrat policies, nothing more.

Kamala Harris loves to talk about the root causes of migration… well how about addressing the root causes of homelessness in this country and fixing it.

These are people, after all, and they should not just be shuffled around to hide, but rather helped.

We cannot continue to allow this problem to rage out of control while this administration does more for illegal immigrants than it does for our citizens who are clearly struggling on multiple fronts.

Do you think we need to do more to help the homeless in this country?
