As California continues to see rising crime, progressive DAs in the state keep putting criminals back on the street.
On Tuesday, two officers paid the price for these policies.
Reports broke early this morning that two LA-area officers were shot late Tuesday.
The officers were rushed to a local hospital, but both were pronounced dead later in the day.
The officers were reportedly responding to a stabbing that took place at the Siesta Inn at Garvey and Central avenues.
As soon as the officers arrived on scene, shots were fired, hitting the officers.
One officer was a rookie, but the other second officer had more than two decades of experience.
City of El Monte, El Monte Police Department, and El Monte Police Officers Association issued a joint statement after the shooting.
It read, “There are no words to describe our grief and devastation by this senseless act as we learned about the passing of two of our police officers.
“It weighs heavy on our hearts and we are sending our support to their families.
“We would also like to thank the El Monte community and our surrounding government agencies for the outpouring of support we have received in the last few hours.”

Details are very limited on the shooting right now, but it almost seems as though this was another ambush right from the start.
That is conjecture on my part, but from the limited details available, this was yet another cowardly act by thugs brought about by anti-police rhetoric from Democrats.
UPDATE: Reports are now stating that the shooter may have been part of a gang…
