The news keeps getting worse for Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY).
She has been under significant fire after accepting a committee assignment from House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA).
She was already facing the ire of Trump and his supporters for this, but now her own GOP groups are disowning her.
Goodbye…
Chairman of the Park County Republicans, Martin Kimmet, stated, “You will no longer be recognized as the official Republican Congressional Representative by the Park County Republican Party.”
The Carbon County Republicans made a similar statement.
Carbon County GOP Chairman Joey Correnti stated, “Park County set up the ball, Carbon County spiked it.
“And now other counties, I say by the end of the week you’ll have at least three or four other counties that are having meetings that will pass a similar resolution.”
Cheney is also facing down the possibility of losing her committee assignments by House Minority Leader McCarthy (R-CA).
Winning her re-election bid appears, at least on the surface, to be very unlikely at this point.
