Democrats live and die with union support, and they are just about to lose a big one.
Even though many local police leaders in Democrat cities supported Joe Biden during the election, the National Fraternal Oder of Police is going against the grain.
It is Republicans putting forth a bill to protect their members, and the organization is throwing its full support behind it.

Does everyone remember during the election when the mainstream media jumped all over 175 past and present law enforcement officers supporting Joe Biden over Donald Trump?
At the time, Tom Manger, the retired chief and former president of the Major Cities Chiefs Association, was one of them.
He stated, “Joe Biden has always stood on the right side of the law and is offering a much-needed vision for our Nation.
“When asked the question, would you feel safe in Joe Biden’s America? The answer is yes.
“I’ve worked with Vice President Biden for years and know that he can heal the divide in our Country. He has condemned violence of all kinds, and there is no question that I would feel safe in Joe Biden’s America.”
Retired chief of the Madison, Wis. Police Department, Noble Wray, hammered Trump, stating, “It’s ironic that a lawless president claims to be the ‘law and order’ president.
“We are at a crossroads with this nation, and we need a president that has always prioritized the safety of Americans and their families.”
Well, Chief Wray, I wonder how you feel about that statement now that Joe Biden has clearly put illegal immigrants over the American people and he is now openly supporting the firing of your fellow law enforcement officers for not wanting to take the jab.
To that point, the National Fraternal Order of Police is siding with Republicans who have introduced the Keeping Our COVID-19 Heroes Employed Act…

I suspect we will see more and more of this as we move forward and first responders stand to lose their jobs.
Joe Biden is already on the record advocating for all of their firings if they don’t take the jab, regardless of whether they have natural immunity.
He may cave at some point and start making exceptions, but that will only be because of pushback.
We need to remember that Joe’s first reaction was to fire them all, period.
