This week, we found out that the Department of Justice is going after parents.
Why? Because they object to what their children are being taught in schools.
Fordham University professor Nicholas Tampio unleashed a vicious op-ed in USA Today, calling out Biden for permitting his DOJ to target parents.
Not Your Place
If you listen to Democrats these days, parents have no right to object to whatever the government says it should be teaching children.
The uproar is over Critical Race Theory being taught, and these objections are coming from all races, creeds, colors, religions, and political beliefs.
These very same parents have been flocking to school board meetings to have their voices heard.
They have been loud, and yes, angry, but the idea that these parents present a danger to the point the FBI needs to be called in is utterly ridiculous.
As Professor Tampio stated, it is largely “a figment of Democratic imagination.”
He stated, “On Monday, Attorney General Merrick Garland released a memorandum describing how the Federal Bureau of Investigation will coordinate with law enforcement agencies across the country to address threats to school administrators and school board members.
“Alas, there is no evidence of a rise in the memorandum or references to where one could find evidence of it.”
Earlier this week, we reported that Attorney General Garland’s daughter’s family has ties to an education supply company that provides schools with CRT materials.
Now, I am no legal expert, but when your AG sics the FBI on parents to block their attempts to have CRT taught when his daughter’s husband and his family stand to get rich from selling these materials, well, that seems like a pretty clear conflict of interest to me.
Tampio concluded, “Without more evidence of real threats, Biden’s political appointee appears to be making a political decision rather than a prudent one.”
He is close… it is actually a personal decision to protect his daughter’s financial future, at least in my eyes.
