Since Joe Biden clearly has no idea what he is doing and his military advisers are either buffoons or he is not listening to them, a couple of Republican lawmakers who served offered some sound advice to Biden.
Both Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), a retired Navy SEAL, and Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), a Marine, offered Joe a few pointers.
Take back Bagram and send the military out past the Kabul Airport.
National Disgrace
Were it not for some of our allies, there would be even more Americans behind enemy lines right now…
Des policiers @PoliceNationale détachés à la DCIS et du #RAID ont assuré la sécurité de nos compatriotes et des afghans réfugiés à l'ambassade 🇫🇷 à #Kaboul.

All the while, our troops are not leaving the airport, simply waiting for people to make their way there to be transported back home.
Rep. Crenshaw stated, “Two things need to happen, and only Biden can authorize:
“1. US military must be allowed to operate outside Kabul airport to get American citizens.
“2: Retake Bagram airfield, thus giving us more options for evacuations.
“Biden created this mess and needs to take decisive action.”
He added another tweet as well…
Yesterday the SECDEF said we can’t go get US citizens, but this isn’t the full story. We certainly have the capability, but Biden has not authorized it.
This must change. Biden needs to do something besides pass the buck.

However, Biden is hesitant to act because he knows if he gets too aggressive, the far left will crush him.
Senator Cotton has likened this to a hostage situation, calling this an “ill-planned, chaotic withdrawal.”
Cotton also ripped Biden for the blunders that have happened since the Afghanistan collapse, such as “relying on the Taliban’s good graces to ensure the safety of our citizens.”
I never in my life thought the United States would be made to appear weak until Barack Obama took office.
Joe Biden, however, makes Obama look like he ruled with an iron fist.
