On today’s episode of “Rules for Thee, Not for Me,” we are featuring Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA).
Waters was photographed on a cross-country United Airlines flight sans mask for most of the flight.
Why is this a big deal?
Well, when you consider her stance regarding masks when Trump was in office, as well as the fact “regular” Americans are being kicked off planes and banned from ever flying again over this rule, it is a VERY big deal.
Mask Up, Maxine
Here are just a few of the tweets that Waters sent out when Donald Trump was in office regarding the wearing of masks…
Take a chance. Remind an unmasked person to put on a mask & if they become angry, smile and say “6ft away” & keep going.

It seems like she would be the one leading by example by the tone and statement, right?
Wrong!
Waters was flying cross-country this week and she was sans mask for a significant amount of the time on the flight.
One source stated, “Maxine had her mask off for at least an hour while she read her paper and took a nap.
“Attendants brought her fresh coffee while she was napping and didn’t say a thing as three of them walked past and saw Maxine reading and then sleeping while she remained maskless.”
Now, I am pretty confident that Waters’ office will push back against this claim, more than likely saying she only had it off while taking sips of her coffee, or something along those lines.
However, based on the witnesses on the plane, it seems pretty evident that Waters was being given special treatment while other passengers were being told they had to have their masks on.
Mind you, it should not even come to this, as Waters should be leading by example, not looking to take advantage of her standing to abuse the rules.
Rules for thee, not for me, that is the mantra of Joe Biden’s Democrat Party.
