The irony of this past weekend is something else.

The country was supposed to be celebrating Martin Luther King Jr., a man who was always about peace and unity.

Yet, here were Democrats laying down the gauntlet and declaring war, even against members of their own party, with Mad Max leading the way.

Let the Gaslighting Begin

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) is the ultimate race card player.

If she does not like what is going on, it’s racist.

If she does like someone, they are racist.

If a minority gets arrested for a crime, it is because of systemic racism.

We are used to her ridiculous attacks as conservatives, but now members of her own party are facing her wrath.

This weekend, Waters went so far as to insinuate Senators Manchin (D-W.V.) and Sinema (D-AZ) were both racists.

She stated, “They have sent the signal.

“They have been clear about it.

“They don’t care about minorities.

“They don’t care about blacks.

“They don’t care about people in their own districts who they’re going to deny their voting rights and undermine their voting rights.

“I must always be optimistic. But this is a very difficult time for Democrats.”

I can’t help but laugh regarding her comment about caring about blacks.

Has she taken a walk around her district anytime in the last decade?

Mad Max, if you cared about blacks, then why the hell does your district look like a homeless encampment and toilet?

There are blocks in her district that have more garbage than my local dump.

Waters didn’t stop there, however, adding, “We have two Democrats, Manchin and Sinema, and they are holding up the Democratic agenda.

“They have decided that they are going to stick with support of the filibuster, and they don’t care whether or not they undermine the rights of minorities and blacks in this country.”

She added, “It’s not what Democrats need to do.

“We’re doing everything that can be done.

“It’s what Republicans need to do. Why is it we don’t have one Republican, not one that will stand up for the voting rights for people in this country?

“And so I hear a lot of talk about our president.

“He’s fighting as hard as he can. I don’t know why people think that he can make Manchin and make Sinema do what is right.”

Sorry, Max, but you got it wrong.

I don’t know if she has checked the voting rules in states like Delaware or New York, but states like Florida and Texas actually offer far more voting days and options.

The only thing they do is ask for proof of ID for the person casting a vote.

If that is racist, well, then I guess every business that cards people are racist. Every airline is racist. Every bank is racist. And the list goes on and on.

The good news is that the American people are growing tired of this nonsense and starting to tune it out.
