When Joe Biden ran for office, he vowed to eradicate COVID-19.
We all know it was nothing more than an empty promise, and now Joe Biden has admitted as much.
The administration has just released its “National COVID-19 Preparedness Plan,” which is more like a plan to live with the virus rather than eradicating it as Biden promised.
Here to Stay
It seems pretty clear that COVID will take over for the flu season from this point forward.
We will see the seasonal surges, but they can be managed with treatments and vaccines from this point forward.
In other words, it is time to get back to normal life and stop living in these bubbles that Democrats want us to be in.
With mid-term elections finally upon us, Democrats finally got the message that Americans do not do well with restrictions for no reason at all.
On Wednesday, the White House released new guidelines, stating, “The path forward in the fight against COVID-19 is clear: we must maintain and continually enhance the tools we have to protect against and treat COVID-19.
“The Administration looks forward to working with Congress to ensure that we have the resources to do just that.
“Because we have these tools, we can begin to get back to our more normal routines safely and the use of public health mitigation measures like masking can be less frequent.”
White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Jeff Zients added, “I want to emphasize that execution of the President’s plan requires additional funding.
“[The Department of Health and Human Services] has laid out some immediate funding needs for Congress.
“We’ll need additional funding for medium and longer-term priorities, and we’ll be working with Congress in the weeks ahead.”
More money… perhaps they should stop reallocating COVID funds that have already been disbursed and use up the billions of funds still sitting on the sidelines before asking Americans to pony up again.
