Karine Jean-Pierre was back on the dais this week.
I think it is safe to say things did not go exactly as planned.
Her presser lasted for about an hour, with a pretty rough reception from reporters that are sick and tired of being ignored.
I Have Been Waiting
The outburst happened as the press conference was winding down.
One of the reporters started to shout out questions as Jean-Pierre was trying to give a question to someone else.
As the shouting starts, Jean-Pierre stated, “I was supposed to go to Chris in the back and I skipped him, so I’m going to go back to him,”
The reporter responded, “I’ve been asking you a question for a long time.”
At this point, chaos starts to erupt.

Jean-Pierre has lost the pool.
One reporter recently stated, “She is poorly received as she isn’t taking time to answer questions or banter with reporters on the issues of the day.
“A press secretary has to share some information, kind of a give and take, but she just doesn’t appear willing to do that yet. … Too often, she is telling reporters that she ‘has nothing from the podium’ to say, which is a waste of everyone’s time.”
Clearly, the White House press corps is getting fed up.
