Joe Biden has depended on large companies to help him get his vaccine mandate enforced.
Red states, however, are pushing back.
To that point, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently put legislation in place protecting some Florida workers from being fired, which set pieces in motion that have sent the Biden White House into a tizzy.
Psaki Goes Mental
When Democrats started their overreaching policies, Governor DeSantis pushed back from the very start.
When other states were shutting down, DeSantis refused to budge and kept his economy going.
Now, with Biden trying to put mandates in place that will cost Americans their jobs, DeSantis pushed back.
After signing the new legislation, DeSantis stated, “Nobody should lose their job due to heavy-handed COVID mandates, and we had a responsibility to protect the livelihoods of the people of Florida.”
In response, Disney suspended its mandatory vaccine policy, stating, “We believe that our approach to mandatory vaccines has been the right one as we’ve continued to focus on the safety and well-being of our cast members and guests, and at this point, more than 90% of active Florida-based cast members have already verified that they are fully vaccinated.
“We will address legal developments as appropriate.”
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki went ballistic, stating, “They’re based in Florida, and obviously the governor there has consistently taken steps to take steps backwards as it relates to fighting the pandemic, not forward.”
Psaki better check her numbers because Florida is and has had one of the lowest COVID infection and hospitalization rates in the country for quite some time.
What DeSantis is doing is working, whether the White House likes it or not.
