The Biden administration has a message to all Americans upset about the high gasoline prices.
That message… shut up and be happy you do not live somewhere else.
I wish I were kidding, but that is the message White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre gave out this week when asked about the unending rise in gasoline prices right now.
Could Be Worse
When asked about the rising prices, Jean-Pierre started rattling off gasoline costs in other countries.
She pointed to the more than $6 price per gallon in Canada and the more than $8 price per gallon in the European Union and Germany.
Jean-Pierre continued, “This is a global challenge, this is something that everyone is feeling across the globe.”
The problem for Jean-Pierre, however, is that Americans could care less what other countries are paying for gasoline right now, and for very good reason.
There is a significant difference between the United States and these other countries.
In the United States, we have the unique ability to be energy independent.
This was something we enjoyed for a very brief time when Trump was in office, hence the $2 per gallon gasoline prices.
The Biden administration keeps telling the American people that “everything is on the table.”
The problem is they don’t seem willing to put the things on the table that will actually work into the oven so we can start to reverse these problems.
This is about Biden pushing a clean energy agenda, and nothing more.
Anyone that thinks anyone in this administration cares one iota about how much we are getting financially crushed right now is absolutely clueless about the endgame of this administration.
They want us dependent upon the government as much as possible… they have made that quite clear.
