Wisconsin Judge Rules Absentee Ballot Boxes Illegal

Well, if you thought the conversation about voting rights was heated before, wait until word about this gets out.

A Wisconsin judge just dealt Democrats and Joe Biden a massive blow.

On Thursday, Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Michael Bohren ruled that the drop boxes used in the 2020 election were illegal.

That gust of wind you thought you heard on Thursday was actually a collective gasp from the entire left.

According to Judge Bohren, the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) overstepped its bounds considerably in 2020.

Bohren’s decision was that the WEC never had the authority in the first place to issue the guidance.

This was something that was widely discussed during the election itself, as voting laws are generally put in place by the state legislators.

He called the dropbox guidance given in this instance was a “major policy decision that alter[s] how our absentee ballot process operates.”

I have no doubt this ruling will be appealed, and likely to end up before either the state or federal Supreme Court.

This will fuel Trump’s complaint, as it is estimated that some 250,000 votes were cast this way without complying with voter ID requirements in the state.

It also happens to be exactly what Trump was referring to during a recent interview on NPR.

The fact that some 250,000 ballots now come into question and Trump lost the state by 20,000, I would say that will get him more than just a bit fired up about this.

What do you think about the court’s decision in this case?
