Zelensky Note Outrages Putin

We have more insight into why Putin seems to be unwilling to accept anything other than complete surrender by Ukraine.

According to the Times of London, a note was passed from President Zelensky to Putin via Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich in an effort to secure peace.

Instead of peace, however, Putin’s message was, “Tell him I will thrash them.”

Temper, Temper, Vlad

Abramovich is a close ally of Putin and he has been acting as Russia’s envoy to Ukrainian negotiators.

The note that Abramovich reportedly carried had Zelensky’s terms for peace.

Obviously, it was not what Putin had in mind from the reported response.

We should note, even though Abramovich is an ally of Putin’s, he was among those that were reportedly poisoned during that meeting with Ukraine negotiators.

While everyone is reportedly recovering, all of them suffered symptoms relative to having been poisoned.

Abramovich is not an official member of the Russian negotiating team, but he has been the go-between thus far between Putin and Zelensky.

Ukrainian negotiators have not exactly welcomed this.

Ukraine’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, Vadym Prystaiko, stated, “I don’t know if he’s buying his way out somehow or if he’s really useful, that’s very difficult to tell.”

For the record, Ukraine officials have denied the poisoning reports, but that may be more bravado than anything else.
